Resolution Pathways

Choosing the right path to resolution.

Not every dispute belongs in a courtroom. We assess each situation carefully and advise on the most effective resolution pathway, balancing cost, time, confidentiality, relationship, and outcome for every client.

Pathway 01

Negotiation & Mediation

The most cost-effective resolution pathway. We facilitate structured negotiation and formal mediation processes, helping parties reach binding settlements that preserve commercial relationships and avoid the cost and uncertainty of proceedings.

Best suited for disputes where speed, confidentiality, or relationship preservation is a priority.
Pathway 02

Arbitration

For disputes requiring a binding determination outside the court system. We represent clients in domestic arbitration under Rwanda's Arbitration Law and in international arbitration proceedings under ICC, KIAC, LCIA, and other institutional rules.

Best suited for cross-border disputes, contractual arbitration clauses, and high-value commercial claims.
Pathway 03

Court Litigation

Where proceedings are unavoidable or strategically necessary, we provide skilled advocacy before Rwanda's High Court, Commercial Division, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court, combining procedural expertise with persuasive, well-prepared submissions.

Best suited for matters requiring injunctive relief, enforcement, or where other pathways have been exhausted.
